Biad Chile
Biad Chile Processing of Mesilla Park is a good example of manual motor starter controls. A motor control center is the heart of this mechanically sophisticated plant.
The Mesilla Park facility is a prime example of the reliability, solid construction, and maintenance friendly aspects of traditional motor controls. The facility is automated entirely by push button logic integrated in the motor control center. The advantages to this type of control logic is that it is very simple, in that there are no computer control devices, and very reliable, in that there are no solid state components or computer boards/chips that can break down or go bad.
The entire automation of this plant is accomplished by the time honored and tested methods of traditional control logic. Traditional control logic, through the utilization of auxiliary contacts provided in the motor starters, allows the process of the plant to be started and stopped in an orderly fashion. Orderly start-up and shutdown are very important to any type of processing plant. Biad Chile is a good example of the fact that this can easily be accomplished without having to use any sort of microprocessor. Traditional push button controls along with the correct control logic can easily produce the desired results, with a more reliable overall result.
Much effort was put into laying out the conduit system such that no conduit needed to cross any other conduit. This is typical of installations by LE Electric. We take great pride in our conduit work, especially in cases such as this where it will be exposed and in plain view.
LE Electric is happy to be associated with the high quality of workmanship seen in the electrical installation of Biad Chile’s Mesilla Park Facility. We are glad to be able to have helped plant management in providing a simple and reliable automation system that meets their specific needs.
How can we help you?
