Intermountain Color A variety of presses, cutters, rollers, stackers, and conveyors dot the landscape of the printer floor. Intermountain color provides a number of electrical challenges. The DC drive motor is controlled by a large array of separate components all contained within the control cabinet that you see in the picture. Working with DC drives is not the norm of new construction (Variable Frequency Drives have effectively replaced DC technology), however, we are very familiar with the workings of DC controls and motors. In setting up this printing facility a lot of consideration was given to where specific machinery was to be placed. Much effort was put into laying out the conduit system such that no conduit needed to cross any other conduit. This is typical of installations by LE Electric.
