Touchscreen control has become the newest rage in processing and manufacturing control. Touchscreen control has the ability to simultaneously provide independent control of each individual apparatus and orderly start-up and shut down of the entire process. These controllers are sophisticated enough to sense a stoppage of flow in a production line and perform an orderly shut down of all machinery feeding the point of stoppage, thus preventing an overflow or backup. Touchscreens along with PLCs have revolutionized the way electricity, as well as product, flows in today’s industrial setting.
